Infinix has expanded its NOTE 50 Series with the launch of the NOTE 50 Pro+ 5G. The company also teased two more 5G models coming soon. The launch event streamed on TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram, was the first vertical-screen event from Infinix and featured AI-driven interactions. Here’s all we know about the device.
The NOTE 50 Pro+ 5G comes with a true-metal ArmorAlloy frame, combining Damascus steel and aerospace-grade aluminium for a sleek and durable build. The HyperCasting technology, inspired by automotive designs, keeps the phone lightweight yet strong. It also features a TÜV SÜD-certified ShockAbsorb system for better drop protection.
The phone’s 5.5G Open-Air Network Structure ensures strong connectivity enhancing Wi-Fi, GPS, and overall signal performance.
The device sports a 6.78-inch AMOLED curved-edge display with FHD+ resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, 1300 nits brightness, and 2304Hz PWM dimming, delivering a smooth and vibrant visual experience.
Under the hood, it is powered by the Dimensity 8350 Ultimate processor, paired with 12GB LPDDR5x RAM and 256GB UFS 4.0 storage, with up to 12GB of virtual RAM for improved multitasking.
For gaming, the XBOOST AI game engine offers E-Sports Mode and mode-switching options. A VC vapour chamber, graphite cooling layers, and an X-axis motor help maintain performance and provide haptic feedback.

Infinix claims the battery retains over 80% capacity over time thanks to AI optimisations. The PowerReserve mode extends usage even at 1% battery, providing 2.2 hours of talk time or 30 minutes of navigation.
For photography, the NOTE 50 Pro+ 5G features a 50MP Sony IMX896 primary sensor with OIS, an 8MP secondary lens and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 6x optical zoom and 100x digital zoom.
The 32MP front camera ensures sharp selfies, while the Instant Double-Tap mode lets users quickly access Street Mode even when the screen is off.
The device also includes an in-display fingerprint scanner, JBL dual speakers, X-axis linear motor and Bio-Active Halo AI lighting.
It runs Android 15 with XOS 15, offering a cleaner experience with fewer preinstalled apps. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, an IR blaster, and USB-C, along with an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance.
The NOTE 50 Pro+ 5G Racing Edition is inspired by racing cars featuring tri-colour stripes for a sporty look. It also comes with a sapphire crystal-embedded power button for a more premium feel.
Infinix also introduced the AI∞ Beta Plan, a strategy focusing on AI-driven features. The One-Tap Infinix AI∞ lets users activate the Folax assistant by long-pressing the power button.
Infinix plans to enhance AI∞ features with monthly XOS and Folax updates.
The Infinix Note 50 Pro+ 5G is priced at $370 (INR 31,930 approx) for the 12GB+256GB variant. The phone is available in Titanium Grey, Enchanted Purple and Racing Edition design variants. With its flagship-like features at a competitive price, the phone aims to shake up the mid-range market.
