Infinix is set to launch the Hot 40i, which is reported to feature a segment-first 32 MP selfie camera.
According to information shared by tipster Mukul Sharma, this camera aims to enhance the quality of self-portraits significantly.
The smartphone will also include a 90Hz 6.6HD+ Punch-Hole Display, intended to provide users with a vivid and fluid visual experience.
An innovative feature, the Smart Magic Ring, incorporates functionalities such as Face Unlock, Background Call, Charging Animation, Charge Reminder, and Low Battery Reminder, aiming to offer a comprehensive and efficient user interface.
The Infinix Hot 40i is set to make its debut in India in the early part of February, according to a report from 91Mobiles Hindi.
The smartphone is anticipated to be available through Flipkart, with two storage configurations on offer: 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB.
Notably, the 256GB variant is expected to be the most affordable option in its storage class within the country.
Additionally, the device will feature the capability for virtual RAM expansion, adding up to an extra 8GB.
Globally, the Infinix Hot 40i has been introduced in several markets, priced below $200 (approximately Rs. 16,000).
It comes in various colour options, including Horizon Gold, Palm Blue, Starlit Black, and Starfall Green.
Powered by the MediaTek Helio G88 SoC and equipped with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, the Hot 40i runs on Android 13 straight out of the box.
For photography, the smartphone is equipped with a 50MP main camera and an AI-supported secondary sensor, complemented by a ring LED flash.
The front of the device features a 32MP camera for selfies and video calls.
A 5,000mAh battery with 18W wired charging support ensures the phone stays powered throughout the day.
