Infinix has officially introduced the Infinix GT 50 Pro in the global market as a gaming-focused smartphone. Succeeding GT 30 Pro, the device is also being presented as the core product of the company’s new “GT Ecosystem.” It brings together hardware controls, advanced cooling and software features tailored for mobile gamers. Here are more details on the device.
Infinix GT 50 Pro – Price and Availability
The Infinix GT 50 Pro will go on sale starting April 25th in Indonesia. It is available in Black Abyss, Red Blaze and Silver Glacier colour options.
As of pricing, the 12GB RAM with 256GB storage variant is priced at Rp 6,999,000 (approximately USD 406 / Rs 38,295), while the 12GB RAM with 512GB storage model costs Rp 7,999,000 (approximately USD 463 / Rs 43,685).
Infinix GT 50 Pro – Key Gaming Features
As a gaming phone, the Infinix GT 50 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate chipset built on a 4nm process and clocked up to 3.25GHz. It integrates MediaTek’s Frame Rate Converter (MFRC) technology to stabilise and interpolate GPU frames during demanding tasks.
The device also includes an in-house N1 network chip aimed at reducing latency and ensuring stable connectivity during online gaming sessions.
A standout feature of the smartphone is its “Open-Cut Pressure-Sense GT Trigger” system. These dual mechanical shoulder buttons support dual-stage pressure sensing allowing light, heavy, and sliding inputs. Users can customise up to four mapping points per trigger and choose from 10 levels of pressure sensitivity. Outside gaming, sliding gestures on the triggers can be used for shortcuts like taking screenshots, recording the screen, clearing memory or activating the Folax AI assistant.
The phone features an aerodynamic design with a transparent “Pipeline Window Display” that visually highlights the internal liquid cooling system. It also includes an RGB lighting setup called Mechanical Light Waves offering 14 lighting scenarios and 8 customisable colours.
To manage heat during extended gaming sessions, the GT 50 Pro uses a HydroFlow Liquid Cooling Architecture. This system includes a micro-pump liquid cooling network with a 6437mm² diaphragm and a piezoelectric ceramic heat pump that circulates coolant at 6.5ml per minute to dissipate heat from critical components.
Moreover, the optional GT Magcharge Cooler 2.0 accessory offers 12W thermoelectric cooling and supports wireless bypass charging, which directs power to the motherboard instead of the battery to reduce heat and improve battery longevity.
The device runs on XOS 16 and includes several gaming-centric software features such as Hardcore Esports Mode that optimises the interface, blocks notifications, and restricts gestures during gameplay. It also supports native 144FPS gameplay for popular esports titles like Call of Duty: Mobile and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. AI-based features include AI Smart Trigger for automated in-game actions, AI Voice Prompt for real-time strategy cues, and AI Magic Voice Changer for enhanced multiplayer communication.
Infinix GT 50 Pro – Other Features
On the display front, the smartphone features a 6.78-inch 1.5K panel protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. It supports a variable refresh rate of up to 144Hz and 2304Hz PWM dimming to reduce eye strain.
For audio, it is equipped with stereo speakers enhanced with Dolby Atmos support for immersive sound.
The GT 50 Pro sports a 50MP primary camera with both OIS and EIS stabilisation paired with an 8MP ultra-wide lens. On the front, there is a 13MP selfie camera. The camera system is further enhanced by Infinix’s AI RAW algorithm for improved image processing and colour accuracy.
It packs 6500mAh battery with 45W fast charging, 30W wireless charging and 10W reverse wired charging support.
Infinix GT 50 Pro – New GT Ecosystem Accessories
Alongside the smartphone, Infinix has also introduced new ecosystem products. The GTBUDS 5 wireless earbuds come with Dolby Atmos support, under 50ms latency, and 50dB hybrid active noise cancellation.
The GTWATCH 5 Pro smartwatch features an independent GNSS chip, automatic workout detection, and can act as a secondary screen for managing notifications during gameplay.
A GT Game Controller is in development to improve ergonomics and delivering better haptic feedback.
