Infinix has confirmed that the Infinix GT 30 5G+ will launch in India on August 8 at 12 PM. Ahead of the official debut, the company has made the microsite live on Flipkart, revealing several key specifications and features of the upcoming smartphone. Here’s what we know about the phone so far.

The Infinix GT 30 5G+ will feature the new Cyber Mecha 2.0 design along with customisable Mecha Lights. Flipkart’s listing reveals that the lighting system will offer over 10 modes including Breathe, Meteor, Rhythm, and Gradient.

A standout highlight is that it will be the segment’s first phone to feature GT Shoulder Triggers. These can be customised for a variety of functions such as in-game controls, camera shortcuts, launching apps, and video playback.

Gaming performance is also emphasised, with the device supporting up to 90FPS in BGMI. The display will be a 1.5K AMOLED panel offering a 144Hz refresh rate, 10-bit colour depth, peak brightness of 4500 nits and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection.

Under the hood, the GT 30 5G+ will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 SoC built on a 4nm architecture. It boasts an AnTuTu score of over 7,79,000 and promises 25% better power efficiency. The device will support up to 16GB of RAM (8GB physical + 8GB extended LPDDR5X RAM) and up to 256GB of internal storage.

For enhanced gameplay, the GT 30 5G+ will feature Infinix’s XBoost AI suite, which includes ZoneTouch Master, Esports Mode, AI Magic Voice Changer and various performance modes. On the AI front, it will offer tools like AI Call Assistant, AI Writing Assistant, Circle to Search and Folax, Infinix’s voice assistant.

The smartphone will be available in a Pulse Green colour variant, with the possibility of additional colour options at launch. Infinix has also teased that more details about the phone will be unveiled on August 5.
