Infinix has released a new gaming smartphone called the GT 20 Pro.
This is the follow-up to last year’s GT 10 Pro model.
Infinix unveiled the GT 20 Pro at a big global launch event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The GT 20 Pro is the official gaming phone for the PUBG Mobile Super League (PMSL) tournament.
This tournament will take place from 15th May to 9th June in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
It will run from 22nd May to 16th June in Central and South Asia.
In Saudi Arabia, the price for the 12GB/256GB version of the Infinix GT 20 Pro is set at 1,299 Saudi Riyals (around Rs 28,900).
You can pre-order it now in Saudi Arabia and it goes on sale there on 1st May.
The GT 20 Pro comes in three colour options – Mecha Blue, Mecha Orange and Mecha Silver.
Infinix hasn’t given details yet on when it will launch in India, but it will likely happen next month.
This phone runs on the powerful MediaTek Dimensity 8200-Ultra processor along with the Mali-G610 graphics chip.
It has up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
The display is a 6.78-inch Full HD+ 144Hz AMOLED screen.
It also has a special Pixelworks X5 Turbo chip just for gaming, making it Infinix’s first dual-chip phone.
This chip can boost frame rates from 60FPS up to 120FPS for super-smooth gaming.
Infinix says games like Free Fire, Call of Duty, and PUBG can reach up to 90 FPS.
While games like Mobile Legends, Genshin Impact, and Honkai: Star Rail can go up to 120 FPS.
Compared to the previous model, the GT 20 Pro has a 78% larger vapor chamber cooling area.
It packs a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging.
Camera setup includes a 108MP main camera, 2MP depth/macro lenses, 32MP front camera, and in-display fingerprint sensor.
