With Christmas around the corner, Indus OS is planning to give 25 smartphones to undergraduate students as a way to celebrate the season of giving. The aim of the campaign is to assist students to the Internet so that they can access the vast potential that the Internet offers.

A survey by ICRIER and LIRNEasia showed that 38% of households reported at least one student dropping out of school due to a lack of means to access online classes, a worrying statistic indeed. Seeing this great divide between students and digital connectivity, Indus OS sought to support students with #IndusOSGiftOfLove campaign. This birthed the idea of giving smartphones to students who can’t afford them. We want to assist students gain access to e-learning services, online courses, and online school to further their growth & curiosity.

Through the use of the hashtag #IndusOSGiftOfLove, Indus OS is seeking help from their community to connect them to such students who need a smartphone.

You have been an important part of Indus OS’ community and it would be much appreciated if you could recommend any such student for this gift of love.
