HONOR is getting ready to launch its new Honor X70 series in China later this month. But you do not have to wait that long to know more about the device. Leaks are already giving us a clear picture of what to expect from the Honor X70, the successor to last year’s X60.
Recently, tipster Panda is Very Bald shared some key details on Weibo, while tech blogger Experience More posted live shots of the device along with its main specs. Looking at the leaked details, the Honor X70 looks set to bring some notable upgrades, especially in terms of battery and design. Here’s everything we know about the phone based on recent leaks.
One of the standout features is the massive 8300mAh silicon-carbon battery, which is even larger than the 8000mAh unit in the Honor Power. Despite this, the phone is said to weigh just 193 grams and measure only 7.7mm thick, an impressive feat for such a large battery. It will also support 80W fast charging.
The 512GB variant is expected to support wireless charging, possibly making it one of the first phones in its segment to offer the feature.
The X70 will reportedly be powered by the new Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset, replacing the Dimensity 7025 Ultra found in the X60. It’s expected to feature a 6.79-inch 1.5K flat display with narrow bezels, likely an OLED panel and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate.
On the back, the phone is said to sport a 50MP main camera with OIS and an LED flash, while the front will house an 8MP selfie camera. It will run MagicOS 9.0, based on Android 15.
The Honor X70 is expected to come in 8GB and 12GB RAM options with 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB storage. Connectivity features include 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, USB-C, and dual SIM support.
The phone will be available in white, blue, black, and red colours. Interestingly, there won’t be an X70 Pro this time. Instead, Honor X70 Max is expected to take its place.
More official details should be out soon, but the leaks already paint a promising picture of a well-rounded and power-packed device.
