HONOR has offered a glimpse into what it envisions as the next frontier of smartphones, AI, and robotics. The Chinese brand has teased a Robot Phone at the company’s extensive Magic8 Pro launch event. And it’s easily one of the most intriguing and unconventional tech previews of the year. The video hints at a design where a gimbal-mounted camera emerges from the back of the phone, reminiscent of an iPhone 17 Pro Max hybridised with a miniature Wall-E or BB-8.
