Honor has officially launched the Honor Play 60A smartphone in China, following its recent appearance on the Bluetooth SIG and TENAA certification databases. While the listings hinted at an imminent debut, the company had not previously confirmed a launch timeline. With the official announcement now in place, the full specifications and pricing details of the device have been revealed.
The Honor Play 60A is available in Lake Blue, Azure Sky, and Inky Black colour options.
It is priced at 1,599 Yuan for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant in the Chinese market.
The Honor Play 60A comes with a 6.75-inch TFT LCD display featuring a 90Hz refresh rate. The screen supports 16.7 million colours, offers an HD+ resolution of 1600 × 720 pixels, and includes multi-touch support with up to 10 touch points. Honor has also added an eye protection mode to reduce strain during extended usage.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC and runs MagicOS 9.0 based on Android 15. It is backed by a 5,300mAh battery, aimed at delivering long-lasting usage on a single charge.
In the camera department, the Honor Play 60A is equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. The device measures 167 × 77 × 7.89mm and weighs around 186 grams.
Additional features include dual SIM support, dual-band Wi-Fi, a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. The phone also offers Honor Super Power Saving Mode, drop-resistant design, Honor Sound, Honor RAM Turbo, knuckle screenshots, and a Dynamic capsule interface.
