Alongside its new Magic 8 series smartphones, Honor has introduced the MagicPad 3 Pro, a premium tablet that marks a major milestone for the brand. It is the first tablet powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, positioning it firmly in the flagship segment. Here’s a detailed look at what the MagicPad 3 Pro brings to the table.
The Honor MagicPad 3 Pro features a 13.3-inch 3.2K LCD display with a 165Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 1,100 nits. Its design closely mirrors the recently launched MagicPad 3, featuring a slim 5.79mm aluminium chassis and a square rear camera module.
Under the hood, the tablet is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, the same chip found in the Honor Magic 8 Pro smartphone. It comes with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage, running MagicOS 10 based on Android 16.
The MagicPad 3 Pro packs a massive 12,450mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging with a 66W charger included in the box. For photography, the tablet features a 13MP main camera with an f/2.0 aperture and a 2MP macro lens, while the front houses a 9MP selfie camera with an f/2.2 aperture for clear video calls and selfies.
In terms of connectivity, the device includes Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, and a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port.
For accessories, Honor offers a Magic Pencil 3 stylus and a Smart Touch Keyboard to enhance productivity. Audio is another strong point of the MagicPad 3 Pro, as it comes equipped with an 8-speaker system and three built-in microphones for superior sound and voice clarity during calls.
Honor also introduced a 12.5-inch version of the MagicPad 3, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. This variant retains the same 13MP rear and 8MP front cameras, 10,100mAh battery, and 165Hz 3K LCD display, packaged in a smaller and lighter design.
The Honor MagicPad 3 Pro is available in Glossy Gold, Starry Sky Gray, and Moon Shadow White colour options. Buyers can choose from three configurations, 12GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 512GB. The base model is priced at CNY 3,999 (approximately ₹49,300).
Meanwhile, the MagicPad 3 12.5-inch model is offered in Starry Night, Moon Shadow White, Purple, and Pine Tree Green colours, starting at CNY 2,999 (roughly ₹37,000).
All models and variants are now available for pre-order in China via Honor’s official online store.
