HONOR has just launched the MagicPad 3 in China, alongside its new foldable the Honor Magic V5. This premium tablet is built for both work and creativity, boasting a super-slim profile of just 5.79mm and weighing 595 grams. Here’s all we know about the device.
HONOR MagicPad 3 – Key Features
The MagicPad 3 features a large 13.3-inch LCD display with a 3200 x 2136 (3.2K) resolution, offering a crisp 291 PPI pixel density. The screen supports a dynamic refresh rate up to 165Hz with seven selectable levels including 144Hz, 120Hz, and 60Hz.
It delivers a 1500:1 contrast ratio, 700 nits of typical brightness, and peaks at 1000 nits for HDR content. With 91% screen-to-body ratio, it also includes HONOR’s Oasis Eye Protection Display technology, offering low blue light filtering, global DC dimming, and AI modes to reduce eye fatigue and motion sickness.
Under the hood, the tablet runs on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. It also comes with dual high-performance Wi-Fi antennas and AI-powered Wi-Fi aggregation for faster and more stable connectivity.

To handle heat, HONOR has packed in a 13-layer Ice-Sealed cooling system including dual-direction vapour chambers and graphite with a total cooling area of 38,773mm².
The MagicPad 3 runs on MagicOS 9.0.1 based on Android 15. It brings desktop-like multitasking, smart file management and AI-powered tools like PPT generation, voice-to-text transcription with speaker identification, and automatic meeting summaries.
It also supports seamless cross-device collaboration with Android, iOS, and HarmonyOS including fast file transfers, cross-brand phone migration, and smart app continuity.
The tablet features a 13MP main rear camera and a 2MP macro lens. On the front, there’s a 9MP camera ideal for video calls and facial recognition.
Powering the device is a massive 12,450mAh Qinghai Lake battery, which offers up to 18 hours of offline video playback and 11 hours of video conferencing. It supports fast charging and uses HONOR’s Dujiangyan AI Power Management System and E2 efficiency chip to keep the battery healthy for over 1,000 days of use.
Audio is another highlight with eight speakers delivering over 95W of output and third-gen spatial audio for a more immersive sound experience. The tablet supports Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and audio codecs like LDAC and aptX Adaptive.
