HONOR has officially unveiled its latest Honor Magic8 Series, which includes the HONOR Magic8 and HONOR Magic8 Pro, at a launch event in China. The new smartphones bring powerful hardware, AI-driven features, and advanced camera technology. Alongside the smartphones, the brand also unveiled HONOR Earbuds 4 and HONOR Watch 5 Pro. HONOR Magic8 Pro and Magic8 – Key Features
The HONOR Magic8 Pro comes with a 6.71-inch 1.5K quad-curved LTPO OLED display, while the standard Magic8 model features a 6.58-inch 1.5K LTPO OLED panel. Both displays support 1–120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 1800 nits global peak brightness, and 6000 nits local peak brightness. They also offer 4320Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, circularly polarized light eye protection, and are protected by HONOR Rhino Glass.
Both smartphones are powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset paired with up to 16GB of RAM. HONOR claims an impressive 4.28 million Antutu 11 benchmark score. The devices run Magic UI 10, which introduces cross-platform and cross-device integration across Android, HarmonyOS, iOS, and Windows, allowing seamless file sharing, task syncing, and workflow continuity.

HONOR’s new AI agent, YOYO, can automatically perform actions in over 3,000 scenarios. The AI button can also analyse the nutritional content of food with a single tap, highlighting the company’s focus on smart everyday use.
The Magic8 Pro is equipped with a 200MP Ultra Night Telephoto Camera featuring a large 1/1.4-inch sensor and f/2.6 aperture. HONOR claims the phone achieves CIPA 5.5-level stabilisation thanks to its AI Adaptive Stabilization Model. The lineup also introduces Magic Colour, an AI-powered colour engine capable of intelligently identifying and reproducing 16.77 million colours through deep learning.
This advanced device-cloud collaborative colour migration technology ensures consistent and accurate colour processing for both global tones and local fine details. The Magic8 Pro further includes a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP front camera for selfies.
The HONOR Magic8 Pro is backed by a massive 7200mAh silicon-carbon battery that supports 100W wired fast charging and 80W wireless charging. The standard Magic8 comes with a slightly smaller 7000mAh battery supporting 90W wired and 80W wireless charging. Both models carry IP68 + IP69/IP69K ratings, ensuring high resistance to dust and water.

HONOR also introduced the HONOR Earbuds 4 alongside the Magic8 Series. The earbuds feature a dual-surface design with a two-tone finish in Pearlescent White and Starry Black, enhanced by NCVM vacuum plating and iridescent accents for a premium look. Each earbud weighs 5.3g, and the 15.6% softer ear tips offer added comfort.
Equipped with dual dynamic drivers (11mm + 6mm), the earbuds deliver rich bass and crisp treble. The titanium-coated diaphragms are 20 times stronger than standard ones, while dual magnetic high-frequency units boost clarity.

HONOR also announced the Watch 5 Pro, a more affordable alternative to the Watch 5 Ultra, yet retaining a premium stainless steel bezel and 5ATM water resistance. The smartwatch features a 46mm body, 11.6mm thickness, and weighs 50g.
It sports a 1.5-inch AMOLED display with 466×466 resolution and 3,000 nits brightness, ensuring excellent visibility even under sunlight. The watch supports AI voice assistant, Bluetooth calling, NFC payments, and GPS tracking. Battery life is rated at 15 days, or 3 days with LTE mode enabled.
Health and fitness features include blood pressure monitoring, ECG, heart rate, and SpO2 tracking. However, HONOR notes that the blood pressure readings are only for guidance and not a medical substitute.
