Honor Magic V6 – Key Features and Specifications
The Honor Magic V6 sports a 6.52-inch LTPO 2.0 cover display and a larger 7.95-inch LTPO 2.0 internal screen. Both panels support adaptive refresh rates up to 120Hz for smoother scrolling and visuals. The outer display offers a peak brightness of 6,000 nits for HDR content, while the inner screen can reach up to 5,000 nits.
According to the company, the internal display is built using ultra-thin flexible glass and comes with SGS minimised crease certification. Honor claims a 44 percent reduction in crease depth compared to the previous-generation Honor Magic V5. The panel also supports 4,320Hz PWM dimming and features an anti-reflection coating designed to bring reflectivity down to 1.5 percent.
Under the hood, the foldable is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, making it the first foldable smartphone to debut with this processor. The SoC is backed by an advanced vapour chamber cooling system to ensure sustained performance. The device reportedly supports up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.1 storage.
It is expected to ship with Android 16-based MagicOS 10 and comes with a promise of seven major OS updates.
On the software front, the Honor Magic V6 integrates several AI-driven capabilities including AI-assisted multitasking, AI Meeting Agent, AI Suggestions, and cross-app actions. It also offers cross-ecosystem connectivity features such as Mac screen extension, iCloud file access, and notification sharing with compatible iPhone and Apple Watch devices through the Honor Connect and Super Workstation apps on supported macOS, iOS, and Windows platforms.
For photography, the Honor Magic V6 packs a triple rear camera system. This setup includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS), a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera. Both the inner and outer displays house 20-megapixel front-facing cameras for selfies and video calls.
Honor states that the telephoto camera delivers CIPA 6.5-rated image stabilisation based on laboratory testing. The phone also incorporates the AIMAGE Portrait Engine and AIMAGE Color Engine to enhance overall image processing and colour accuracy.
The Honor Magic V6 measures 8.75mm in thickness when folded, highlighting its slim profile in the foldable category. It carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance under IEC 60529 standards. The hinge is constructed using Honor’s Super Steel material, rated at 2,800MPa, and has successfully passed 500,000 folding tests certified by SGS.
For display protection, the handset features an anti-scratch NanoCrystal Shield coating. Honor claims improvements in drop resistance, scratch protection, wear durability, and reduced reflectivity compared to previous materials.
Powering the device is a 6,660mAh silicon-carbon battery developed in partnership with ATL. The foldable supports 80W wired charging, 66W wireless charging, and reverse wireless charging. Honor says it uses fifth-generation silicon-carbon material with 25 percent silicon content, delivering an energy density of 921Wh/L.
At MWC 2026, Honor also unveiled its next-generation Silicon-carbon Blade Battery technology, which features 32 percent silicon content and an energy density exceeding 900Wh/L. This battery innovation is aimed at enabling future foldable smartphones with capacities of up to 7,000mAh.
