The global launch date was officially confirmed by Honor Malaysia for July 15th. The brand has also emphasised that the Magic V5 offers “no compromise” when it comes to battery life, camera performance, and durability.

The Honor Magic V5 is set to take on rivals like the Oppo Find N5, Vivo X Fold 5, and the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7, all of which are expected to be available in the Malaysian market soon.

In China, the Honor Magic V5 is available in two battery options, 5,820mAh and 6,100mAh. For the global market, only the 5,820mAh version is likely to be released.

The foldable phone features a 7.95-inch LTPO AMOLED main screen and a 6.43-inch LTPO OLED cover display. Powering the device is the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage.
