Honor has officially revealed the design of its upcoming Honor 500 series, following several days of teasers. The company’s latest promotional poster and teaser video give the first clear look at both the Honor 500 and Honor 500 Pro. It shows the phone closely and also confirms their design language and some key visual differences. While the devices are now open for reservations in China, Honor has yet to confirm an official launch date.

Honor officially released some promotional images and a video on Weibo. The latest promotional material showcases that both the Honor 500 and Honor 500 Pro share a similar design with a horizontal camera bar layout on the rear. However, the Pro model distinguishes itself with an additional circular camera module on the right side.

Honor has also introduced a unibody cold-carved back panel, a technique seen previously in several of the brand’s high-end smartphones. Another notable upgrade is the dedicated photo button on the side of the Honor 500 Pro. Although not visible in the official image, it is expected to support quick capture functions, custom camera settings, and possibly AI-based shortcuts.

Both phones are tipped to arrive in four colour options, blue, pink, silver, and black.
According to leaks, the Honor 500 series will feature a 6.55-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 4,320Hz PWM dimming for smoother visuals and reduced eye strain.
For cameras, the devices could sport a 50MP front-facing camera, while the rear setup may include a 200MP primary sensor with OIS and a 50MP ultra-wide lens. The Honor 500 Pro may also include a 64MP periscope telephoto lens for enhanced zoom capabilities.

The phones are rumoured to pack a massive 8,000mAh battery with the Pro variant supporting 80W wired and 50W wireless charging.
On the software front, the Honor 500 series is likely to run MagicOS 10 based on Android 16. Other rumored features include dual stereo speakers, infrared support, NFC connectivity, and IP68 or IP69 certification for dust and water resistance.
The Honor 500 and 500 Pro are expected to make their official debut in China on November 24 with global availability details likely to follow soon after.
