HMD Global has officially launched its first-ever hybrid phone, the HMD Touch 4G, in India. The device, which blends the simplicity of a feature phone with the convenience of a touchscreen interface, is now available for purchase in the country. Here’s all you need to know about the phones.
The HMD Touch 4G is priced at Rs 3,999 for its single configuration with 64MB RAM and 128MB internal storage. It comes in Cyan and Dark Blue colour options and is currently available via the official HMD India website.

The company has also confirmed that it will soon go on sale through leading e-commerce platforms and select offline stores across India.
The HMD Touch 4G features a 3.2-inch QVGA touchscreen display protected by 2.5D curved cover glass. Unlike traditional feature phones, this hybrid model does not include a keypad, offering a more modern user experience.

It is powered by a Unisoc T127 chipset paired with 64MB RAM and 128MB of inbuilt storage, expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card. The phone supports dual nano-SIM cards and runs on HMD’s S30+ Touch operating system.
The handset comes preloaded with the Cloud Apps Suite, providing access to video, social, and utility apps that are streamed directly to the device. Users can check cricket scores, news, weather updates, and play HTML5-based games like Tetris and Sudoku.
For optics, the phone sports a 2MP rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3MP VGA front camera for selfies and video calls.
The HMD Touch 4G packs a 2,000mAh replaceable battery, which the company claims can deliver up to 30 hours of battery life on a single charge. It also carries an IP52 rating for dust and splash resistance.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, Beidou, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The device also supports wired and wireless FM Radio as well as an MP3 player for media playback.
The phone comes equipped with a dedicated ICE (In Case of Emergency) button, which can be triggered with three short clicks or a long press to make emergency calls. It also supports Express Chat, allowing users to text or video call their contacts and the companion app is available for free on both Android and iOS platforms.
Weighing 100 grams and measuring 102.3×61.85×10.85mm, the HMD Touch 4G combines a compact design with practical features.
