HMD Global has expanded its product portfolio in India with the launch of three new devices, the HMD Vibe 5G smartphone and two feature phones – the HMD 101 4G and HMD 102 4G. The feature phones target users who prefer compact and durable handsets, while the Vibe 5G is positioned as a budget-friendly option for consumers seeking affordable 5G connectivity. Here’s everything you need to know about the newly launched phones.
The HMD Vibe 5G comes with a 6.67-inch HD+ LCD display offering a 90Hz refresh rate and a 20:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, it runs on the UNISOC T760 octa-core chipset (6nm), paired with 4GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB internal storage, expandable up to 256GB via microSD. The device ships with Android 15 and promises two years of quarterly security updates.
For photography, the Vibe 5G features a 50MP primary camera alongside a 2MP depth sensor and LED flash on the back. On the front, it houses an 8MP selfie shooter. Other highlights include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The HMD 101 4G and HMD 102 4G feature a 2-inch QQVGA display (240×320 resolution) and are powered by the Unisoc 8910 FF-S processor. Both models come with 16MB storage, expandable up to 32GB with a microSD card, and run on S30+ RTOS.
Key features include FM radio (wired and wireless), MP3 playback, cloud apps, and local language support.
The HMD 102 4G differentiates itself with a QVGA camera with flash and a colour-matched keypad. Both devices carry an IP52 rating for dust and splash resistance.
Connectivity options include dual SIM support (900/1800MHz bands), Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C charging, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Both pack a 1000mAh removable battery. The dimensions are 118.2 × 50.2 × 14.3mm, with a weight of 83.5g.
