HMD Global has officially announced the Barbie Flip Phone for India after teasing it on social media for the last few days. The phone is already available in Europe, including the UK market and will soon be listed on HMD.com for Indian buyers. Here’s all we know about the phone so far.
The HMD Barbie Flip Phone has a clamshell design with a 2.8-inch QVGA internal display and a 1.77-inch external cover screen. It runs on the Unisoc T107 chipset with 64MB of RAM and 128MB of storage, expandable via microSD (up to 32GB). The phone operates on S30+ OS.
Powering the device is a 1,450mAh battery, offering up to 9 hours of talk time. The rear houses a VGA camera with an LED flash.
For connectivity, it supports Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C, a 3.5mm headphone jack, FM Radio and an MP3 player.
Staying true to its theme, the phone features a Barbie-inspired interface and comes pre-loaded with apps such as –
The Barbie Flip Phone is priced at £99 in the UK and €129 in Europe, but HMD has not yet revealed the Indian pricing.
