HMD Crest 2 and Bold – Key Details Leaked
A new leak from a reliable HMD source, HMD MEME’S on X (formerly Twitter) has revealed two more upcoming devices. According to Gizmochina, these are internally codenamed “ACCORD” and “MAHUZE,” which are expected to be launched as the HMD Crest 2 and HMD Bold, respectively.

Starting with the more powerful of the two, the HMD Crest 2 (codenamed ACCORD) is said to be powered by the Unisoc T8300 5G chipset. This octa-core processor is built on TSMC’s 6nm process and features a 2+6 architecture. It includes two high-performance Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.2GHz, alongside six Cortex-A55 efficiency cores running at 2.0GHz.
In benchmark testing, the Crest 2 reportedly scored 743 in Geekbench’s single-core test and 2285 in the multi-core benchmark, which are respectable numbers for a budget-friendly 5G device. The smartphone is expected to be available in 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB RAM configurations.

The HMD Bold (codenamed MAHUZE), on the other hand, will likely be equipped with the Unisoc T7250, a more entry-level chipset. This SoC includes two Cortex-A75 cores running at 1.8GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores at 1.6GHz, and is built using TSMC’s 12nm FinFET process. The Bold is expected to launch in 4GB and 6GB RAM variants.
As of now, there is no official confirmation on the pricing or release date of either phone. However, if the leak from HMD MEME’S is accurate, both models could debut in the near future. We will have to wait for more updates as they surface.
