If a report is to be believed then Google will launch its Pixel 6a phone next month. According to the report, the Google Pixel 6a was spotted on the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) website. The reported appearance of the multiple models of Google Pixel 6a on the FCC website indicates its launch in May.

Leaks also claim that the upcoming Google Pixel 6a might feature an 8MP selfie camera and 5000mAh battery. The smartphone is expected to be launched at the Google I/O which is a software-focused event, but if the rumours are to be believed then Pixel 6a is expected to debut during the event, scheduled to be held in May.

Other than Pixel 6a, G1AZG, GB62Z, GB17L, and GX7AS are other multiple Google phones were reportedly appeared on the FCC listing.

In addition to the FCC listing, Google Pixel 6a also appeared in a Geekbench listing. It indicates that the upcoming phone can be powered by Google’s Tensor GS101 SoC.

Reports also claim that Google Pixel 6a may come with Android 12, and may feature a 12-megapixel secondary camera sensor. Talking about the colour options, the Google Pixel 6a is likely to be available in Green, Black, and White colour options.

Google Pixel 6a rival

It is believed that the upcoming Google Pixel 6a can give competition to the newly launched iPhone SE. The iPhone is powered by an A15 Bionic processor with a dated design, which is where the Pixel may take a lead.

It will be exciting to see what Pixel 6a will offer and what it is going to cost. But if iPhone SE sees a price drop then it’s going to be its biggest advantage over Google Pixel phones.
