Veo 3 was originally only available to AI Ultra plan subscribers and later made its way to Pro-tier users in a few select countries. Even though India wasn’t on the initial list, some Indian users had already noticed the Veo 3 option appearing in their Gemini app.
Now, Google has officially confirmed that Veo 3 is available in India.
What’s New in Veo 3?
First announced at Google I/O last month, Veo 3 is a big leap forward for AI video creation. Unlike earlier versions, it can now generate realistic videos with synced audio including ambient sounds and even spoken dialogue.
Google explains, “Veo 3 excels from text and image prompting to real-world physics and accurate lip syncing. It’s great at understanding; you can tell a short story in your prompt, and the model gives you back a clip that brings it to life.”
Veo 3 also powers Google Flow, an AI filmmaking tool that lets paying users –
- Create videos in 1080p resolution
- Use advanced camera controls
- Extend existing clips and much more
What Do You Need To Start Using Veo 3?
To use Veo 3, you’ll need to be subscribed to Google AI Pro, which costs ₹1,950 per month. With this plan, users get access to a lighter version called “Veo 3 Fast.”
It creates 8-second videos in 720p resolution. And thanks to backend improvements, it now delivers results twice as fast. Users can generate up to three videos per day using Veo 3 Fast. After that, the app switches back to the older Veo 2 model for the rest of the day.
If you want full Veo 3 access, you can also subscribe to the AI Ultra plan, which is now available in India for ₹24,500 per month.
How To Use Veo 3?

- Make sure you have an active AI Pro or Ultra subscription.
- In the text box, type what kind of video you want.
- Tap More > Video > Submit.
- Once the 8-second video is generated (with audio included), tap on it and hit Download to save it.
