The official launch is expected on March 26th 2025 with pre-orders opening a week earlier on March 19.

In Europe, the release schedule remains the same with pre-orders starting on March 19 and general availability on March 26. The 128GB model will be available in all four colours, while the 256GB variant will only come in Obsidian and Iris. Pricing is set at €549 or £499 for the 128GB model and €649 or £599 for the 256GB version.
The Pixel 9a is getting some notable upgrades including a bigger 5,100mAh battery, Google’s Tensor G4 processor (the same chip as the Pixel 9) and a 48MP main camera sensor for improved photography. These updates suggest Google is positioning the Pixel 9a as a strong mid-range option.
Moreover, all Pixel 9a variants are expected to include three months of Google One (100GB) and YouTube Premium, plus six months of Fitbit Premium.
As of now, there is no word yet on pre-order deals or trade-in offers. However, it seems the Pixel 9a is shaping up to be an affordable yet capable smartphone with these specs and pricing. More details should emerge as the launch date approaches.
