While shipping of the new phones has just started and not very many users have probably got their hands on the latest devices, Pixel 9 series tricks have been surfacing online since the announcement. Let’s take a quick look at some of the recently revealed Pixel 9 new features. Pixel 9 Series: Transfer Data From Another Phone After Initial Setup Google Pixel 9 Series enhances data transfer capabilities. The latest Google Pixel 9 series now allows users to restore data from another Android device even after the initial setup is completed. The Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, and Pixel 9 Pro XL users can access this new feature anytime through the Android Settings menu. This is a welcome change. Previously, Android only supported data transfer during the initial setup. If you skipped this option or if it failed, you would have to perform a factory reset to try again. But with the Pixel 9 series, you can now copy data from another device without resetting your phone. In a recent post, 9to5Google explains the feature in detail. In the Settings menu, you’ll find a new "Backup or copy data" section above the "System" category. This section allows you to back up data to your Google account or copy data from another device. The process is simple and involves scanning a QR code and using Wi-Fi to transfer the data. You can choose which data to copy, and it’s always merged with existing data on the new device, not overwritten.
