The company is apparently delving into bigger radical phone designs that can change the way modern smartphones look. 91Mobiles in one of its recent reports highlights a newly discovered patent on the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) platform. The patent reveals that Xiaomi’s next big innovation is going to be a foldable phone that can break into two different parts. The patent also reveals that the upper portion of the phone houses a multi-camera setup and seems to rotate around an axis. If this design feature works out, this could enable many creative ways to take photos or videos. However, it is important to note that the exact purpose of this feature remains unclear as of now.
