CES 2026 is set to take place from January 6 to January 9 in Las Vegas, bringing together the world’s biggest names in consumer electronics and IT. Ahead of the event, Samsung is reportedly preparing to unveil a new Brain Health service designed to identify early signs of cognitive decline including dementia. The feature is said to analyse users’ voice and sleep patterns using data collected from smartphones and wearable devices.
In addition to the Brain Health initiative, Samsung Electronics has confirmed that it will showcase a new lineup of projects supported by its C-Lab (Creative Lab) programme, with a strong emphasis on artificial intelligence, robotics, and digital health solutions. Samsung Brain Health to be showcased at CES 2026
According to a report by South Korean publication Chosunbiz, Samsung will demonstrate its Brain Health service at CES 2026 in a dedicated experience zone at La Tour at Wynn Las Vegas. The service is designed to detect changes in cognitive function including early signs of dementia by analysing voice patterns, gait, and sleep data gathered through smartphones and wearable devices.
When abnormalities are identified, the system is expected to notify designated guardians.
Visitors at CES will reportedly be able to see how the feature operates in real time including how personal data is collected and processed by Samsung’s mobile and wearable products. After monitoring a user’s condition, the Brain Health service is said to recommend brain training programmes aimed at improving cognitive function.
Samsung reportedly views this feature as part of its long-term vision for “continuous healthcare”, covering detection, prevention, and everyday cognitive support. The company is said to have completed internal development of the service and is now carrying out clinical validation in collaboration with medical institutions.
Once launched, the Brain Health service is expected to become part of the broader Samsung Health ecosystem. Samsung Health already offers features such as blood pressure monitoring, ECG, sleep tracking, stress monitoring, movement analysis, and heart rate tracking through devices like the Galaxy Watch and Galaxy Ring, paired with the Samsung Health app.
Samsung to Present C-Lab Startups at CES 2026
Alongside its health-focused innovations, Samsung will operate a dedicated C-Lab exhibition zone at Eureka Park, the startup-focused area of CES located at the Venetian Expo. Through this platform, Samsung aims to help emerging startups validate their ideas, connect with global partners, and explore opportunities in international markets.

CES 2026 – 15 Startups Under Samsung C-Lab
At CES 2026, Samsung will showcase 15 startups under the C-Lab Outside initiative, covering areas such as AI, robotics, sustainability, content creation, and healthcare. These include eight startups incubated directly by Samsung Electronics, four supported by Samsung Financial Networks, two from Samsung’s internal C-Lab Inside programme, and one jointly incubated with the Daegu Creative Economy Innovation Centre.
Regional representation will be at a record high this year. Since 2023, Samsung has expanded C-Lab Outside to regions such as Daegu, Gwangju, and Gyeongbuk province, allowing startups to scale without relocating to Seoul. As a result, seven regional startups will participate at CES 2026, the highest number so far.
Samsung will also present two internal AI projects under its C-Lab Inside programme focusing on video composition and AI-driven product recommendations. Additionally, for the first time, four Samsung Financial C-Lab startups will make their CES debut, working on solutions such as cyber risk modelling, biometric identity verification and on-device scam detection.

- Stress Solution (Gyeongbuk): An AI-based personalised mental care sound creation solution
- Deepscent (Gwangju): An AI-powered digital scent solution tailored to every space
- Elevenliter (Daegu): AI-powered diagnostics for progressive diseases in pets
- AunionAI (Gwangju): A web-based AI solution for automated multilingual dubbing and subtitles with expressive voices and sound effects
- Repla (Gyeongbuk): Enzyme-purified recycled plastic, free of impurities
- Univa (Daegu): An on-device multimodal large language model solution
- ai (Daegu Creative Economy Innovation Centre): An enterprise AI video production solution that can generate, edit and monetise videos
