But reports are emerging that its successor, the OnePlus Open 2, will be delayed and won't be available until early 2025. OnePlus Open 2: Design Overhaul The OnePlus Open 2 launch is delayed until early 2025 The Open 2 was scheduled to launch in the late 2023 calendar year. But the delay will allowi OnePlus to carry the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset from Qualcomm into the new foldable instead of the older 8 Gen 3 processor, which is nearing the end of its life cycle. In addition to a chipset upgrade, the OnePlus Open 2 is said to have improved the display crease when the foldable screen is closed.
