The chipmaker is now slowly and steadily working towards finding its footing in the automotive sector as well. At the Snapdragon Summit recently Qualcomm announced the Snapdragon Cockpit Elite and Snapdragon Ride Elite platforms as its entry into the auto business. Certain reports now confirm that the company is in talks with India’s biggest carmaker Maruti for a partnership. Qualcomm & Maruti Partnership According to reliable tech source Yogesh Brar in association with Smartprix, Qualcomm will work with Maruti Suzuki to incorporate Snapdragon automotive chips into Maruti’s upcoming vehicles.
