Apple has created a new Instagram account named “Hello Apple” @helloapple, expanding its presence on the social media platform. While the company already maintains an official Instagram profile mainly used for the popular Shot on iPhone campaign, this new handle will focus on a broader range of content.

One of the first uploads is a short video simply saying “Hello”. Another post features a letter from Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO, titled “50 Years of Thinking Different.” The post ties in with the company’s upcoming milestone anniversary. Apple will mark its 50th anniversary on April 1 and plans to celebrate the occasion in the coming weeks.
Other posts on the account include updates related to the MacBook Neo and news about Apple TV becoming the exclusive platform to stream Formula 1 races in the United States.
Apple already operates several dedicated Instagram accounts for its services and platforms including Apple Music, Apple News, Apple Books, Apple TV+, Apple Fitness+, and Apple Creator Studio.
Beyond Instagram, Apple has also been increasing its activity on TikTok. Recently, the company enabled comments on the videos it shares on the platform, signalling a greater effort to engage with users directly.
With this new Instagram account, Apple appears to be further strengthening its social media presence to connect with a wider audience. The company’s primary Instagram account already has more than 36 million followers, while the newly launched Hello Apple page is quickly attracting tens of thousands of followers.
