But, the focus of the event continues to be the iPhone, presumably called the Apple iPhone 13. As usual, the event will be streamed online due to the ongoing pandemic.

Here’s where you can watch and what to expect from Apple’s California Streaming event.

How to watch Apple’s ‘California Streaming’ event?

Apple’s ‘California Streaming’ event 2021 will start at 10 AM PDT, which converts to 10:30 PM IST today (September 14). What to expect at Apple’s ‘California Streaming’ event?

iPhone 13

The major expectation from today’s ‘California Streaming’ event is the launch of the new iPhone 13 series. Apple, at its fall event, traditionally announces iPhones – so the arrival of the latest lineup is on the cards. The new iPhone is likely to look like the iPhone 12. As per the recent reports, iPhone 13, much like its predecessor, will come in four different models. So expect the iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max to hit retail shelves soon. The display sizes should remain the same, that is, 5.4-inch for the iPhone 13 mini, 6.1-inch for the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro, and 6.7-inch for the iPhone 13 Pro Max.

Apple Watch Series 7

During today’s event, the company is also expected to launch another high-profile product – Apple Watch Series 7. The next-generation smartwatch will likely see its biggest redesign, with a flatter edge design similar to the iPad Pro and iPhone 12. The new smartwatch will feature larger screen sizes of 41mm and 45mm, up from the current 40mm and 44mm size. It is also expected to get a significant boost in battery life and a faster processor.

AirPods 3

Apple will likely use its fall event to announce the third-generation AirPods – AirPods 3. As per the rumors, it will get a significant boost. The new-generation AirPods has been waiting for a redesign for years now. The company is expected to refresh its entry-level AirPods with a design that may take design inspiration from the more premium AirPods Pro. Other expected changes include a shorter stem and support for wireless charging.

Apart from iPhone 13 series, Apple Watch Series 7, and AirPods 3, Apple could reveal a timeline for its next set of software releases for iPadOS 15, iOS 15, and more. Some reports have already hinted that the Cupertino Company may hold another fall event to showcase new iPads and the all-new MacBook Pro, but we’ll keep our fingers crossed.
