Tech giant Apple has launched the brand-new Beats Studio Buds+ globally. The earbuds are the follow-up to the Beats Studio Buds, which were released in 2021.

It has a transparent design option inspired by the Nothing Ear (1), active noise cancellation (ANC), improved battery life, and a lot more.

After several leaks and rumors, Apple’s subsidiary, Beats, has launched the new Beats Studio Buds Plus earbuds.

These earbuds are the successor to the Beats Studio Buds, which were released almost two years ago.

As a generational upgrade, they come with new and improved features. But the main highlight of the Beats Studio Buds Plus is their design.

They are available in a cool new transparent version.
The trend of transparent earbuds was initiated by Nothing’s first product, the Ear (1).
It appears that even an Apple subsidiary has taken some inspiration from it.

Apple subsidiary Beats has launched all-new TWS earphones – Studio Buds+. This time, it comes transparent – so you can see through it.

The all-new Beats Studio Buds+ is available for USD $169.99 (approx Rs 14,000) in the US. The earbuds come in three colour options – Black/Gold, Ivory, and Transparent. Currently, there is no information available about its India availability.

Beats Studio Buds+ Design

The most noticeable change to the Beats Studio Buds+ is its appearance. The new Transparent colour stands out, but the Black with Gold accents and Ivory colours also look great. The design of the Transparent reminds us of what Nothing has been doing with the Nothing Ear (1) and Nothing Ear (2). Nothing has made some of its devices with totally clear outer surfaces. Beats’ transparency isn’t quite as clear, but it covers almost the whole outside.

Beats Studio Buds+ Features

With ANC switched off, the Beats Studio Buds+ guarantees up to 36 hours of overall battery life (9-hour earphones + 27-hour charging case).

Fast charging is available and provides an hour of battery life with only five minutes of charge, but it does not support wireless charging.

The “b” button on each earbud has been changed to make it less likely to be pressed by mistake and feel more solid.

The button still lets you play and stop music with a single press, skip forward or backward with two presses, or skip forward or backward with three presses.

The press-and-hold feature enables the user to switch between ANC and Transparency mode. Additionally, it can be customized to activate a voice assistant or adjust the volume.

The call handling feature can be personalized to end a call with either one or two presses.
In addition to ANC and Transparency, Apple Music’s Spatial Audio material works with Beats Studio Buds +. However, they don’t have the immersive head-tracking feature found on the Beats Fit Pro and some AirPods models.

The Beats Studio Buds+ are equipped with a unique second-generation “Beats Proprietary Platform” that provides similar functionalities to Apple’s chips. These features include “Hey Siri” and Find My support, automatic device switching through iCloud, and other capabilities.
