Tech giant Amazon has announced new feature to customize live channels on Fire TV an easy experience. According to Amazon Fire TV blog, users can now customize their integrated channel guide by bringing up the new ‘Add Channels’ option. Within the Live tab, select the guide to see what’s on now. While in the channel guide, simply press the menu button.

On Alexa Voice Remote to bring up the ‘Add Channel’ option. From here, users can easily add additional live channels from their favorite free and subscription-based apps for a customized live experience.

Integrated channel guide

With a dedicated guide button on Alexa Voice Remotes, Amazon has also made accessing live TV channels very easy. Pushing the guide button will take the users directly to the new integrated channel guide in the Live tab.

“This comprehensive guide is the ultimate destination for all the live content available on Fire TV and allows users to easily see what’s available to watch now. They can navigate seamlessly across a variety of channel offerings,” reads the blog.

It further adds that whether it’s free, ad-supported apps like IMDb TV, Pluto TV, and Tubi, or subscription-based apps like YouTube TV, Sling TV, and Hulu + Live TV — users can easily access a treasure trove of over 20 live TV favorites in the US, all in one place.

YouTube TV, Prime Video Channels, IMDb TV, Hulu + Live, Discovery+, Pluto TV, Sling TV, FOX Now, Tubi, Philo, Red Bull TV, Plex, ESPN, Haystack News and Xumo are top apps that support Fire TV’s Live Experience.
