Amazfit has unveiled the Amazfit Active 3 Premium, a compact smartwatch designed primarily for beginner runners and fitness enthusiasts who mix running with strength or studio workouts. The wearable focuses on structured training tools, navigation capabilities and comprehensive health tracking, while maintaining a clean design suited for daily wear.

The Amazfit Active 3 Premium is available in Apex Silver, Atlas Blue, and Aero White colour options.
It is currently on sale in the United States at USD 169.99 (approximately Rs. 15,460). Based on this pricing, the India launch is expected to carry a similar price tag when the smartwatch arrives in the country.
Amazfit Active 3 Premium – Health and Other Key Features
In terms of design, the smartwatch features a 45mm stainless steel frame and four physical buttons. It weighs 38g without the strap and measures 45 × 45 × 11mm. The device sports a 1.32-inch AMOLED display with a 466 × 466 resolution, 353 PPI pixel density, and peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits. The screen is protected by sapphire glass, and the watch carries a 5ATM water resistance rating.
For navigation, the device supports six satellite positioning systems and offers offline maps with turn-by-turn directions, automatic rerouting, and point-to-point route planning. Users can also search for points of interest directly from the watch interface. With 4GB of internal storage, the smartwatch allows users to store maps and audio files including podcasts, enabling phone-free workouts.
The Amazfit Active 3 Premium comes with built-in running workouts and Zepp Coach adaptive training plans. These plans automatically adjust according to a user’s performance and recovery levels, supporting goals from 5K races to full marathons.
The smartwatch tracks advanced running metrics such as posture, running power, lactate threshold, ground contact time, rhythm analysis, and balance monitoring. These insights are aimed at helping users refine their technique, optimise effort, and lower injury risks over time.
Additional features include a virtual pacer, smart trajectory correction, track run mode, and running gear management.
Health monitoring is handled by the BioTracker PPG sensor, which supports continuous heart rate, blood oxygen, stress, and skin temperature tracking. Sleep monitoring includes heart rate variability, breathing quality, sleep stages, naps, and an overall sleep score. The BioCharge feature offers a daily readiness score based on activity and recovery data. Additional metrics include VO₂ Max, training load, training effect, and training stress balance. A one-tap measurement feature can record heart rate, stress, blood oxygen, and breathing rate within 45 seconds.
The smartwatch supports more than 170 sports modes, covering running, cycling, swimming, strength training with auto recognition of 25 movements, HYROX training, indoor workouts, winter sports, and various ball sports. It also supports Bluetooth peripherals such as heart rate belts, power meters, cadence sensors, and action cameras.
The Amazfit Active 3 Premium houses a 365mAh battery. It is rated to deliver up to 12 days of battery life under typical usage, up to 7 days with heavy use, and up to 4 days with the always-on display enabled. Continuous GPS usage can last up to 24 hours, while GPS power-saving mode extends usage to 76 hours. When GPS is used alongside music playback, battery life is rated at up to 10 hours.
Smart features include Bluetooth calling via a built-in microphone and speaker, Zepp Flow voice assistant, notifications, music control, camera control for iOS devices, quick replies on Android, and a Find My Phone function.
