Ai+ Smartphone has officially entered the foldable smartphone segment with the launch of the new Ai+ NovaFlip 5G in India. The company claims the NovaFlip 5G is the country’s first flip smartphone priced under Rs 30,000, aiming to make foldable technology more accessible to mainstream consumers.
The latest offering by Ai+ is a combination of compact flip-style design and flagship-inspired features. It includes AMOLED displays, a MediaTek Dimensity 7300X chipset, Android 15-based NxtQuantum OS, fast charging support, and advanced camera capabilities.
The device also marks Ai+ Smartphone’s expansion beyond traditional budget and mid-range smartphones.
Sharing his views on the newly launched smartphone, Madhav Sheth, CEO, Ai+ Smartphone and Founder, NxtQuantum Shift Technologies, said: “The NovaFlip 5G is not just a product launch, it’s a category shift. Ai+ NovaFlip 5G Features and Specifications
The Ai+ NovaFlip 5G features a 6.9-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display for immersive viewing. Complementing the main display is a 3.0-inch AMOLED cover screen that allows users to quickly check notifications, access controls, and interact with apps without unfolding the device.
Powering the smartphone is the MediaTek Dimensity 7300X processor paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. The smartphone runs Android 15 with NxtQuantum OS, which the company describes as India’s first sovereign mobile operating system.
The NovaFlip 5G also supports dual SIM functionality with 5G+5G connectivity, NFC, Wi-Fi 6 tri-band support, and a flip-aware user interface powered by a hall sensor.

Ai+ Smartphone has equipped the NovaFlip 5G with a 50MP rear camera system aimed at photography enthusiasts and content creators. The phone also features a 32MP front camera with autofocus for sharper selfies and video calls, even in different lighting conditions.
The company says the flip form factor allows users to take selfies conveniently in folded mode while also enabling flexible shooting angles for photography and video recording.

The NovaFlip 5G packs a 4325mAh battery that the company claims can deliver up to 310 hours of 5G standby time and up to 19.5 hours of VoNR talk time.
The smartphone supports 33W fast charging via USB Type-C with PD3.0 and PPS charging technologies for quicker top-ups.
Design, Dimensions and Additional Features
When folded, the smartphone measures 87.3×76×15.6mm, while unfolded, it expands to 169.4×76×7.5mm. The device weighs 193 grams, making it relatively lightweight for a flip-style foldable phone.
Additional features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a protective case in the box, a USB Type-C cable, a 33W fast charger, a SIM ejector tool, a warranty card, and a user manual.
