OnePlus kicked off 2025 with the launch of the Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro in China. Now, according to popular tipster Digital Chat Station, the company is gearing up to introduce three more phones in the first half of the year. These could be rumoured OnePlus 13T (also known as the OnePlus 13 Mini), which will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and two new Ace-branded devices.
One of these Ace models is expected to be the OnePlus Ace 5V, featuring the upcoming Dimensity 9350 chip. The other is believed to be equipped with the Dimensity 9400+, which suggests it could be the OnePlus Ace 5S.
Now, a recent Weibo post by the same tipster has revealed more details about this phone.
According to recent Digital Chat Station’s Weibo post, the OnePlus Ace 5S is expected to come with a 6.83-inch flat LTPS OLED display, offering a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it will be powered by the Dimensity 9400+ processor, an overclocked version of the existing D9400 chip, which is rumoured to debut on April 11.
The hone is expected to pack around 7,000mAh, though OnePlus is reportedly debating between two configurations, an 80W fast-charging solution or a larger 7,500mAh battery with slightly slower charging speeds. Unlike some premium OnePlus models, it won’t support ultra-fast 100W or 120W charging.
For photography, the Ace 5S Pro is expected to feature a 50-megapixel primary camera but will skip the telephoto lens. The design may also see some changes, moving away from the circular camera module used in its predecessor.
Another key difference is the replacement of the classic Alert Slider with a new customisable ‘Magic Cube’ button, which will offer additional functionality.
