While the company has not officially confirmed the device, a new leak has revealed the expected launch timeline and key specifications of the upcoming smartphone. The upcoming handset is tipped to feature Qualcomm’s unreleased Snapdragon 8 Gen 6 chipset, a 200-megapixel primary camera and a large battery with a capacity of around 10,000mAh.
OnePlus Turbo 7 Specifications Leaked
Tipster Smart Pikachu has shared details about the OnePlus Turbo 7 on Weibo. According to the leak, the smartphone could feature a 1.5K LTPS OLED flat display with a refresh rate of up to 165Hz or 185Hz. The higher refresh rate is reportedly reserved for specific scenarios, while the screen could otherwise support up to 165Hz.
The OnePlus Turbo 7 is tipped to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 6 chipset. This would be a notable upgrade over the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor used in the standard OnePlus Turbo 6.
It could feature a 200-megapixel primary rear camera with a 1/1.56-inch sensor. The tipster also mentions a 50-megapixel camera as an alternative configuration, although it is unclear whether this refers to another variant or a different camera setup. The handset is not expected to include a telephoto lens.
It is tipped to pack a battery of around 10,000mAh, which would be larger than the 9,000mAh battery found in its predecessor. However, details about its charging speed and front camera are not available yet.
