iQOO has launched the iQOO Neo 12 in China as its latest gaming-focused smartphone. The new model brings several upgrades over the iQOO Neo 11 including a 2K+ display with a 185Hz refresh rate, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and 9,000mAh battery with 100W fast charging. iQOO Neo 12 Price in China and Sale Date
The iQOO Neo 12 has been launched in China in multiple RAM and storage configurations. The prices start at CNY 4,399 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant and go up to CNY 6,499 for the top-end 16GB RAM and 1TB storage model.

iQOO Neo 12 Key Specifications
The iQOO Neo 12 features a 6.83-inch 2K+ LTPS AMOLED display with a resolution of 3,200 × 1,440 pixels. The panel supports a variable refresh rate of up to 185Hz, HDR10+, Dolby Vision and a peak brightness of up to 2,200 nits. It also supports 1.07 billion colours, the DCI-P3 colour gamut, 2160Hz PWM dimming and DC dimming.
The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset built on a 3nm process paired with an Adreno 840 GPU and a dedicated Q3 gaming chip.
On the software front, the iQOO Neo 12 runs Android 17 with OriginOS 7. It supports dual nano-SIM cards and includes an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and an infrared sensor.
For photography, the phone has a 50MP Sony IMX921 main camera with an f/1.88 aperture and OIS, accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide camera with an f/2.2 aperture. On the front, it features a 16MP camera with an f/2.45 aperture for selfies and video calls.
The iQOO Neo 12 packs a 9,000mAh battery with support for 100W ultra-fast charging. Other features include stereo speakers, USB Type-C audio, NFC, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. Its satellite navigation support includes GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, Galileo and QZSS.
It also carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
iQOO Neo 12 Gaming Features
Alongside the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, the phone features a dedicated Q3 gaming chip designed to handle additional graphics processing. It works with the QNSS super-rendering engine to support features such as full-scene ray tracing, 2K resolution upscaling and frame-rate interpolation.
iQOO says the phone can combine these three visual enhancements across six supported games. Full-scene ray tracing is supported across 10 mobile titles, while 2K native image super-resolution is available across 13 titles. The phone can also combine native super-resolution and frame-rate interpolation across 12 titles.
The handset features an upgraded Ice Dome cooling system to manage temperatures during extended gaming sessions. This setup includes a 59-blade active cooling fan measuring 17mm in diameter and 4mm in height. The company claims the fan delivers 10% more airflow.
The cooling system also includes an optimised air duct with heat-conducting fins, which is said to improve heat dissipation efficiency by 15%. An 8.2K 3D Ice Dome vapour chamber is also part of the setup, with iQOO claiming a 15% improvement in thermal performance over the previous generation.
For visuals, the phone uses a dedicated 2K 185Hz display driver chip that offers a 28% improvement in processing performance and reduces power consumption by 30% compared with its predecessor. The display also uses Sky Mirror luminescent material and pTSF technology.
