The OPPO Find X10 Pro Max introduces a new level of smartphone photography with its triple-200MP rear camera system. The camera setup has been developed with Hasselblad imaging expertise and combines high-resolution sensors with advanced photography, long-range optical zoom and professional-grade video recording features.

From capturing detailed landscapes and close-up shots to recording high-resolution videos, the Find X10 Pro Max is designed to offer greater flexibility. Here are five camera features that make it stand out.

  1. Triple 200MP Cameras Cover All Three Rear Camera Angles

The OPPO Find X10 Pro Max features three 200MP rear cameras with each sensor designed for a different type of photography. The main camera handles everyday shots, the ultra-wide camera captures larger scenes and the telephoto camera brings distant subjects closer while retaining fine details.

200MP Main Camera With 17-Stop HDR

The Find X10 Pro Max features a 200MP Hasselblad Ultra HDR main camera with a custom Samsung ISOCELL HPC sensor developed exclusively with OPPO. Its large 1/1.3-inch sensor, f/1.5 aperture and optical image stabilisation (OIS) are designed to improve light capture and keep images sharp in different lighting conditions.

The camera also introduces DeepPix High Dynamic Range technology offering a claimed 17 stops of dynamic range. This should help preserve details in bright areas and dark shadows within the same image. The combination of a large sensor, wide aperture and stabilisation is particularly useful for night photography, indoor shots and scenes with challenging lighting.

200MP Ultra-Wide Camera With a 124-Degree Field of View

According to OPPO, the Find X10 Pro Max is the first smartphone to feature a triple-200MP camera system developed with Hasselblad including a 200MP ultra-wide camera.

It uses a large 1/1.56-inch sensor and an f/2.2 aperture, which are designed to capture more light than the previous generation. This can help produce clearer, more detailed images in low-light conditions.

The camera features a custom 13mm, seven-element lens with a 124-degree field of view. This makes it suitable for capturing expansive landscapes, architecture, group photos and other scenes where fitting more into the frame matters. With a minimum focusing distance of just 4cm, the ultra-wide camera can capture close-up images of small objects, textures and other fine details.

200MP Telephoto Camera for Zoom and Close-Ups

The third camera is a 200MP Hasselblad Ultra-Sensing telephoto camera with a 1/1.56-inch sensor and an f/2.1 aperture. OPPO says the lens is among the fastest in its smartphone telephoto category, helping it capture more light when photographing distant subjects.

With a 70mm equivalent focal length, the camera is suited to half-body portraits, close-ups and landscape photography. Its high-resolution sensor also supports in-sensor cropping, retaining 50MP resolution at 6x zoom. This gives users more flexibility to frame a subject without relying entirely on digital enlargement.

The telephoto camera also supports a minimum focusing distance of 10cm, allowing users to photograph small subjects from close range.

  1. The 200MP Telephoto Camera Can Also Shoot Macro Photos

Macro photography usually involves getting close enough to reveal details. The OPPO Find X10 Pro Max takes a different approach by using its 200MP telephoto camera for close-up photography.

The camera supports a minimum focusing distance of 10cm that allowing users to photograph subjects without having to place the phone directly next to them. This can be useful when capturing flowers, intricate textures, small objects and other subjects where fine details matter.

Using a telephoto camera for macro photography can also make framing easier. Users can maintain some distance from the subject while filling more of the frame with the details they want to capture. The large sensor can further help separate the subject from the background with natural-looking bokeh.

  1. Hasselblad Teleconverter Adds More Reach for Distant Subjects

The OPPO Find X10 Pro Max supports the OPPO Hasselblad Teleconverter, a Hasselblad-certified optical accessory designed for long-range photography. It extends the phone’s telephoto capabilities, making it easier to capture subjects that are too far away for standard smartphone zoom.

The accessory uses 13 all-glass elements to maintain image sharpness across the frame. It also includes three extra-low dispersion (ED) glass elements to reduce chromatic aberration, which can appear as unwanted colour fringing around high-contrast edges. PVD coatings are designed to help minimise lens flare.

The 3.28x teleconverter enables 10x optical zoom when paired with the phone’s 3x 200MP telephoto camera. Users can then crop further into the 200MP sensor to reach 20x, 40x and beyond, while retaining more detail than conventional digital zoom may offer.

This additional reach could be useful for wildlife photography, concerts, sporting events and distant landscapes. The accessory is particularly relevant for users who want more control over long-range photography without carrying a dedicated camera and telephoto lens.

  1. LUMO True Image Engine Aims for More Natural Colours

The OPPO Find X10 series introduces the LUMO True Image Engine, the company’s next-generation computational imaging solution designed to produce more natural-looking images.

The system combines Hasselblad’s colour science with the natural processing approach of Master Mode and colour information captured by the True Color Camera. The aim is to reproduce the colours, tones and textures of a scene more faithfully, rather than making every photograph look heavily processed.

The new True Color Camera uses 24-channel multispectral capture and offers 5.5 times the dynamic range of its predecessor, according to OPPO. This helps it gather more accurate colour information across different lighting conditions, which the LUMO True Image Engine can then use when processing images.

The processing system is designed to preserve natural variations in skin colour and brightness instead of excessively brightening or whitening faces. This can help portraits look more realistic and avoid the washed-out appearance that aggressive image processing sometimes produces.

  1. 4K 120fps and 8K Video Across the Three Rear Cameras

The OPPO Find X10 Pro Max is also designed for users who want more advanced video recording options. For the first time on an OPPO smartphone, the device supports 17-stop high dynamic range cine-grade video with uncropped 4K recording at 60fps. It also brings 4K 120fps Dolby Vision video recording directly to the native camera app.

All three rear cameras support 4K video at 60fps and 120fps as well as 8K recording at 30fps. This means users can switch between different perspectives without having to give up these recording options.

The ultra-wide camera can capture expansive scenes, while the main camera is suited to everyday videos. The telephoto camera, meanwhile, allows users to frame distant subjects and capture close-up details.

Dolby Vision HDR recording is designed to retain detail in bright highlights and dark shadows, adding depth to scenes with strong differences in lighting.

These features could be useful for creators who want to record, edit and colour-grade footage using a single device. Support for high frame rates also gives users more options for recording fast-moving subjects and creating slow-motion clips.

OPPO Find X10 Pro Max Camera: What Makes It Different?

The biggest standout aspect of the OPPO Find X10 Pro Max Camera is the triple-200MP camera setup. Many smartphones prioritise resolution on the main camera while using lower-resolution sensors for ultra-wide and telephoto photography. The Find X10 Pro Max takes a different approach by offering 200MP resolution across all three rear cameras.

The telephoto camera also doubles as a macro camera, while the optional Hasselblad Teleconverter extends its reach for distant subjects.

The LUMO True Image Engine adds another layer by focusing on natural colours, skin tones and scene contrast. Meanwhile, support for 4K 120fps and 8K 30fps recording across all three rear cameras gives video creators more flexibility.

All these features together position the OPPO Find X10 Pro Max as a camera-focused flagship designed for users who want versatility across landscapes, portraits, close-ups, zoom photography and video recording.
