The OPPO Reno 17 Pro specifications have surfaced online ahead of the smartphone’s expected launch in November. According to a leak shared by a popular Chinese tipster, the upcoming phone could feature a compact 6.32-inch display, a MediaTek Dimensity chipset and a 200-megapixel primary camera. OPPO has yet to officially confirm the phone’s specifications or launch date.
OPPO Reno 17 Pro Specifications Leaked
According to tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the OPPO Reno 17 Pro could feature a 6.32-inch flat display with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The compact screen could appeal to users who prefer smaller smartphones without compromising on display sharpness and smooth scrolling.
The handset is further tipped to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8550 SUPER chipset.
For photography, the OPPO Reno 17 Pro is reportedly being developed with a 50-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. Its rear camera setup could include a 200-megapixel primary camera with a large sensor, a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera.
The primary camera is expected to be a key highlight, while the ultrawide and periscope telephoto cameras could offer more flexibility for landscape photography, portraits and zoom shots. However, the the tipster doesn’t confirm whether the main camera will feature gimbal optical image stabilisation (OIS).
The smartphone is also tipped to pack a battery with a capacity of around 7,000mAh. If accurate, this could be a notable feature for a phone with a 6.32-inch display, potentially offering longer battery life without requiring a larger handset.
OPPO Reno 17 Series – What We Know So Far
Previous reports suggest that the Oppo Reno 17 series could include smartphones with different display sizes while continuing to focus on 200-megapixel photography. OPPO is also reportedly exploring new live-photo and video-editing features for the lineup.
Another reported development is the possible addition of a telephoto extender. The accessory is currently associated with OPPO’s more premium Find X series, and bringing support to the Reno lineup could expand its photography capabilities.

Will the OPPO Reno 17 Pro Launch in India?
OPPO has not officially confirmed the India launch of the Reno 17 Pro or announced its availability in the country.
A previously reported live image of the standard Reno 17 for India suggests that the company could be preparing to bring at least one model from the lineup to the Indian market. However, this does not confirm that the Reno 17 Pro will launch alongside it.

OPPO Reno 17, Reno 17c India Launch Timeline
Meanwhile, tipster Debayan Roy @Gadgetsdata on X has revealed that OPPO could launch only the Reno 17 and Reno 17c in India, leaving out the Reno 17 Pro.
According to the tipster, the standard Reno 17 is tipped to use the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, the same processor found in the Reno 16. Meanwhile, the Reno 17c could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, which is also used in the Reno 16c.
