OPPO has expanded its K-series smartphone lineup in China with two new models, the OPPO K15s and OPPO K15x. The new phones join the recently introduced K15, K15 Pro and K15 Pro+ in the company’s K-series range. The OPPO K15s is the more premium model of the two and focuses on a large 8,000mAh battery, a 120Hz AMOLED display and multiple durability certifications. The K15x, meanwhile, comes with a 6,500mAh battery, an LCD display and a lower price tag.

The OPPO K15s is available in two configurations, 6GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB. The phone is priced at 1,699 yuan (around $250) and 1,999 yuan (around $294), respectively. It comes in Wind Trail Purple and Shadow Gray.
The OPPO K15x is offered in 6GB+128GB and 6GB+256GB configurations. The prices are 1,399 yuan (around $206) and 1,699 yuan (around $250), respectively. It is available in Glacier White and Prism Purple.

OPPO has not shared any details about the global availability of the K15s and K15x yet.
OPPO K15s Specifications
The OPPO K15s features a 6.57-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen has a 2372×1080 resolution, up to 1,400 nits of peak brightness and a 1,000Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate. It supports 1.07 billion colours and covers the full DCI-P3 colour gamut.
The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Max chipset paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. A 4,300mm² VC cooling system is included to help manage heat during use.
The K15s has a 50-megapixel autofocus primary rear camera with up to 10x digital zoom and an 8-megapixel front camera. It can record 1080p video at up to 60fps and 720p slow-motion video at 120fps.
One of the main highlights is its 8,000mAh battery, which supports 45W SuperVOOC and UFCS fast charging. OPPO says the battery is rated for more than 2,000 charge cycles and can retain at least 80% of its capacity after around seven years of simulated use.
The K15s also has IP69K, IP69, IP68 and IP66 protection along with 15 military-grade environmental tests under the GJB150A-2009 standard.
Other features include NFC, an infrared remote, dual-SIM support, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth with LDAC and aptX HD, and an in-display optical fingerprint sensor.
OPPO K15x Specifications
The OPPO K15x comes with a larger 6.75-inch HD+ LCD display. The panel supports a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 1,125 nits of peak brightness and up to 240Hz touch sampling.
Under the hood, the phone uses the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage.
For photography, the K15x has a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera with up to 10x digital zoom and a 5-megapixel front camera. The rear camera can record 1080p video at up to 60fps, while 720p slow-motion recording is supported at 120fps.
The phone packs a 6,500mAh battery rated at 6,335mAh with support for 45W SuperVOOC and UFCS charging.
For durability, the K15x comes with IP64 protection and OPPO’s diamond anti-drop architecture. Unlike the K15s, it does not offer NFC. However, it includes a 3.5mm headphone jack, expandable storage, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth audio support, dual-SIM connectivity and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
