iQOO Pad Ultra Debuts With 165Hz OLED Display, Gaming Chip Q4 and Ultra-Thin Design

iQOO has launched the iQOO Pad Ultra in China alongside the iQOO 16 smartphone today. The new tablet is aimed at users looking for flagship-level performance in a compact form factor and is focused on gaming. Pad Ultra also packs a high-refresh-rate OLED display, Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset and a dedicated gaming chip.

iQOO Pad Ultra Price and Availability

Pre-orders for the iQOO Pad Ultra are now open in China and its official release is set for October 15. It has been announced in China with four memory and storage configurations –

• 12GB + 256GB – 6,499 yuan (around ₹92,965)
• 16GB + 256GB – 7,199 yuan (around ₹1,02,975)
• 16GB + 512GB – 7,999 yuan (around ₹1,14,420)
• 16GB + 1TB – 8,999 yuan (around ₹1,28,725)

The tablet is available in Starry Silver and Ender Black colour options.

iQOO Pad Ultra – Key Features

The iQOO Pad Ultra features an 8.8-inch 2.3K OLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate. The panel offers up to 4,500 nits peak brightness and 1,600 nits HBM brightness. It also supports 5,000Hz instantaneous touch sampling, which is designed to improve touch response during gaming.

The tablet has 2.65mm bezels and a 93.3% screen-to-body ratio. It measures just 5.74mm in thickness and weighs 298g, making it relatively compact for a performance-focused tablet.

Powering the iQOO Pad Ultra is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. iQOO has also included its self-developed Q4 gaming chip for gaming-focused performance. The tablet uses an active cooling system with a built-in 30 × 30 × 3.5mm cooling fan, offering 0.94CFM airflow. It also features a 12,118mm² double-layer VC cooling system, while the total heat dissipation area reaches 23,253mm².

The iQOO Pad Ultra runs Android 17 with OriginOS 7 HD. For gaming, the tablet also gets a PC game emulator, a Wi-Fi enhancement chip and a 500Hz ultra-sensitive gyroscope.

For photography, the iQOO Pad Ultra has a 13-megapixel GC13A0 rear camera with a 1/3.06-inch sensor. On the front, there is an 8-megapixel GC08A3 camera with a 1/4-inch sensor.

The tablet is powered by a 9,020mAh battery and supports 66W fast charging. It also features bypass charging, which can be useful during extended gaming sessions.

Other features include dual X-axis linear motors, symmetrical dual speakers and RGB lighting. It also gets a USB 3.2 Gen 2 port for connectivity. The tablet measures 5.74mm in thickness and weighs 298g.
