OPPO is reportedly preparing to launch its new F35 series in India on October 5. The lineup is expected to include the standard OPPO F35 and the higher-end OPPO F35 Pro. Some reports have hinted that the upcoming smartphones could arrive as a rebranded version of the OPPO A7 and A7 Pro 5G. Anyhow, a new leak has revealed key specifications, expected pricing and colour options for both smartphones ahead of the launch.
OPPO F35 Specifications and Expected Price
According to the latest leak, the OPPO F35 will feature a 6.57-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone is expected to pack an 8,000mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging.
Under the hood, the F35 could be powered by the MediaTek 6360 chipset. It is also tipped to feature a 4,300mm² VC cooling system to help manage heat during use. The phone is expected to be available with 6GB or 8GB of RAM with both variants offering 128GB of storage.
For photography, the OPPO F35 could have a 50MP primary rear camera and a 2MP secondary camera. On the front, it is tipped to feature a 50MP ultra-wide selfie camera.
The phone is also expected to focus on durability with IP68, IP69, IP69K and IP66 ratings. Despite its large battery, the F35 is reportedly 8.8mm thick and weighs 205 grams.
The expected price of the OPPO F35 in India is ₹35,000 to ₹40,000. It is tipped to launch in Wave Blue, Titanium Grey and Mist Pink colour options.
OPPO F35 Pro Specifications and Expected Price
The OPPO F35 Pro will sit above the standard model and is expected to offer upgraded hardware. It could be powered by the MediaTek 7360 Max chipset and is also tipped to feature an 8,000mAh battery with 80W charging. The Pro model is expected to use a larger 5,000mm² VC cooling system, which should provide additional thermal management compared with the standard F35.
For cameras, the OPPO F35 Pro is tipped to feature a 50MP large-sensor primary camera with OIS, accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera. The front camera could be a 50MP ultra-wide selfie camera with support for Natural Tone.
The phone is also expected to bring enhanced durability features including an IP69K rating and Rainstorm Touch support.
The OPPO F35 Pro is expected to be priced between ₹45,000 and ₹50,000 in India.
OPPO F35 Series India Launch Date
According to the latest leak, the OPPO F35 series will launch in India on October 5. The lineup is expected to include the F35 and F35 Pro with the Pro model bringing a massive battery, a powerful chipset, a larger VC cooling system and upgraded camera hardware.
However, the pricing and specifications mentioned above are based on the latest leak and should be treated as expected details until OPPO officially confirms them.
Could OPPO Pad Mini Launch Alongside F35 Series?
According to the reports, the OPPO Pad Mini, OPPO Enco X4 and OPPO Clip 2 are expected to launch in India soon. It was previously suggested that all three OPPO devices were scheduled to launch in the country with the OPPO Find X10 series before the 28th of October.
However, the latest update suggests OPPO Pad Mini would launch alongside the upcoming OPPO F35 series instead.
OPPO Pad Mini is tipped to feature an 8.8″ OLED display with a 2.5K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate and slim bezels. It is expected to come equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, an 8,000mAh battery with 67W charging support, a 13MP rear camera with a flash and an 8MP front-facing camera.
OPPO has yet to confirm the launch plans or the specs of the upcoming devices. We can expect more updates in the days approaching the launch.
