Vivo has launched the standard Vivo X500 in China today, alongside the Vivo X500 Pro and Vivo X500 Pro Max. The standard model comes with a 1.5K AMOLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 9600M processor, a 7,500mAh battery and a triple rear camera setup with ZEISS optics. It runs Android 17 with OriginOS 7 and is offered with up to 1TB of storage. Here are the price, specifications and availability details of the standard Vivo X500.

Vivo X500 – Price and Availability

The Vivo X500 is available in three configurations in China. The 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant is priced at 5,499 yuan (around $821 or Rs. 78,665). The 12GB+512GB version costs 5,999 yuan (around $895 or Rs. 85,820), while the top-end 12GB+1TB model is priced at 6,999 yuan (around $1,044 or Rs. 1,00,125).

The phone is currently available to pre-order in China and will go on sale starting September 24.

As for colours, the standard Vivo X500 is offered in Dawn, Echoes of the Earth, Night Photography and Sunny options.

Vivo X500 – Key Specification

The Vivo X500 features a 6.59-inch 1.5K LTPS AMOLED display with a resolution of 2750 x 1260 pixels and a 19.64:9 aspect ratio. The screen supports HDR10+ and has a variable refresh rate that can switch between 30Hz, 60Hz, 90Hz, 120Hz and 144Hz. It also offers up to 4,000 nits of peak brightness.

The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 9600M processor built on a 3nm process. Graphics are handled by the ARM G1-Ultra GPU. The Vivo X500 comes with 12GB of LPDDR5X Ultra RAM, while storage options include 256GB, 512GB and 1TB using UFS 4.1 storage.

On the software side, the phone runs Android 17 with OriginOS 7.

The Vivo X500 packs a large 7,500mAh battery. It supports 90W ultra-fast flash charging, along with 40W wireless charging and reverse wireless charging.

The Vivo X500 gets a triple-camera setup on the back. Its main camera is a 50MP sensor with a 1/1.28-inch Sony LYTIA-828 sensor, f/1.68 aperture and OIS. It is paired with a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera with an f/2.0 aperture. The third camera is a 50MP 1/1.95-inch Sony LYT610 ZEISS APO periscope telephoto camera with an f/2.55 aperture. It also supports OIS, 3.1x optical zoom and telephoto macro photography. The camera system includes ZEISS T* coating, ZEISS optics and Vivo’s V3+ imaging chip.

For selfies and video calls, the Vivo X500 has a 50MP front-facing camera with an f/2.0 aperture.

The Vivo X500 is a dual-SIM smartphone with nano + nano SIM support. It features an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and an infrared sensor. Audio features include USB Type-C audio, stereo speakers and Hi-Fi audio.

For connectivity, the phone supports 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be), Bluetooth 5.4 and NFC. Its navigation features include GPS with L1+L5, Beidou, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS and NavIC with L5 support. The phone also has a USB Type-C 3.2 Gen1 port.

The Vivo X500 measures 157.01 x 74.49 x 8.15mm and weighs 213 grams. It also comes with IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance.
