Redmi has launched the Note 17 Pro Max in India as the more premium model in its latest Note series. The smartphone comes with a massive 10,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, 100W HyperCharge and a 1.5K OLED display. The phone also brings the Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chipset, fast LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage along with a 50MP OIS-enabled Sony camera. Here are more details.

Redmi Note 17 Pro Max Price and Availability in India

The official sale of the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G will begin on September 23, 2026.

The Redmi Note 17 Pro Max is priced at ₹49,999 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage configuration. Buyers using SBI, Axis, Kotak and IDFC First Credit Cards can get an instant bank discount of ₹5,000 on the phone. An additional ₹5,000 offer is also available through HDB Financial Services.

For a limited period, Redmi is bundling the Note 1 Care Plan worth ₹9,999 for free. It provides two years of screen protection, two years of battery replacement and two years of warranty.

The Redmi Note 17 Pro Max features a 6.83-inch 1.5K flat LTPS OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 3,500 nits peak brightness. The panel also offers 2,000 nits HBM and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. For eye protection and responsiveness, the display supports 3840Hz PWM dimming and 3200Hz instantaneous TSR.

Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chipset. It uses LPDDR5X RAM with speeds of up to 6400Mbps and UFS 4.1 storage. The phone runs Android 16 with HyperOS 3. Redmi is promising four years of major software updates and six years of security updates.

The battery is one of the biggest attractions of the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max. It packs a 10,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, although the capacity will be 9,210mAh in select regions. The phone supports 100W HyperCharge for fast wired charging and also offers 27W wired reverse charging, allowing it to charge other compatible devices.

Redmi has also equipped the phone with Surge G2 and Surge P3 chips for battery and charging-related management.

For photography, the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max gets a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary camera with a 1/1.95-inch sensor and OIS. It is paired with an 8MP ultra-wide camera. On the front, the phone features a 32MP OmniVision OV32D selfie camera with a 1/3.6-inch sensor.

The smartphone also comes with Xiaomi HyperAI tools, bringing AI-powered features to the device.

Despite housing a 10,000mAh battery, the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max measures 8.57mm in the white colour option and 8.65mm in the purple, green and black variants. The phone weighs 229 grams. For protection against water and dust, the device carries IP69K, IP69, IP68 and IP66 ratings.

The Redmi Note 17 Pro Max supports Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 6.0 and NFC. The phone also features a 400 percent audio volume boost, which is designed to provide louder sound output.

Other hardware features include an optical fingerprint sensor and an IR blaster.
