Vivo X500 Series Display Sizes Confirmed Ahead of September 21 Launch; Gets SIRIM approval in Malaysia

Highlights

  • Vivo X500 series display sizes confirmed: X500 with 6.59″, X500 Pro with 6.36″ and X500 Pro Max with 6.85″.
  • All three models have received Malaysian SIRIM certification, indicating regional rollout plans.
  • Pro models tipped to use MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro built on TSMC’s 2nm N2P process; more details expected ahead of launch.

The Vivo X500, Vivo X500 Pro and Vivo X500 Pro Max are already confirmed to launch in China on September 21, announced during the Vivo Creator Festival. Vivo has now revealed the display sizes of all three models along with the colour options, giving us a clearer idea of how they will differ. At the same time, the complete Vivo X500 lineup has now received approval from Malaysia’s SIRIM certification authority. While the phones are set for China launch, getting approval in Malaysia suggests that the X500 series could soon arrive in the global market as well.

Vivo X500 Series Display Sizes and Colours Revealed

According to the latest information shared by Vivo, the standard Vivo X500 will feature a 6.59-inch display. The Vivo X500 Pro will be the smallest model of the three with a 6.36-inch screen, while the top-end Vivo X500 Pro Max will come with a much larger 6.85-inch display.

The newly revealed sizes are close to an earlier leak from tipster DCS. A few months ago, DCS had claimed that the X500 series could come with three different screen sizes measuring 6.37 inches, 6.59 inches and 6.85 inches. The latest official information therefore largely matches those earlier claims with only a slight difference in the Pro model’s reported size.

Along with the display details, the full Vivo X500 lineup has also cleared Malaysia’s SIRIM certification. As per details shared by tipster Anvin on X, the approval covers the Vivo X500 with model number V2619, the Vivo X500 Pro with model number V2621 and the Vivo X500 Pro Max carrying model number V2610.

The SIRIM approvals are each valid for one year starting from early September 2026 and running until September 2027.

The certification itself does not reveal any specifications or other hardware details. However, the appearance of all three phones on SIRIM is an indication that Vivo is preparing the X500 series for sale in Malaysia.

This also points towards regional availability of the phones around the time of or soon after their China launch.

The company has previously revealed some information about the processor expected on the Vivo X500 Pro series. The upcoming Pro models are tipped to use MediaTek’s Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset, which is reportedly being manufactured using TSMC’s 2nm N2P process.

More details about the Vivo X500 series are likely to emerge ahead of the September 21 launch.
