Moto Pad 70 – Key Specifications

The Moto Pad 70 features a large 12.1-inch LCD display with a 2.5K resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. The screen has a 90Hz refresh rate, which is lower than the 120Hz panels available on some competing tablets, but should still provide smooth scrolling and video playback. The display can reach a peak brightness of 800 nits and supports the DCI-P3 colour gamut.
For audio, Motorola has equipped the tablet with four speakers that support Dolby Atmos.
The tablet is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 processor and comes with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. There are two storage options available including 128GB and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Users can also expand storage further via the microSD card slot, which supports cards up to 2TB.

On the software front, the Moto Pad 70 runs Android 16 out of the box. Motorola has promised two major Android OS updates, meaning the tablet is expected to receive updates up to Android 18. The company will also provide security updates through 2030.
The Moto Pad 70 packs a large 10,200mAh battery and comes with a 68W charger in the box.
The tablet comes with Motorola’s Smart Connect feature, which lets users share files and mirror screens between the tablet, Windows PCs and Motorola smartphones.
In terms of design, the Moto Pad 70 measures 6.29mm in thickness and weighs 530 grams. It carries an IP52 rating, offering protection against light splashes, although the tablet is not designed to be submerged in water. For connectivity, the tablet supports 5G networks, Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.4.
Moto Pad 70 – Design, Moto Pen and Keyboard

Motorola is bundling the Moto Pen with the tablet. The stylus supports 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity along with tilt detection and palm rejection. This should make it useful for writing, drawing and other stylus-based tasks.
For users who prefer a physical keyboard, Motorola is also offering an optional magnetic keyboard cover. It connects to the tablet using pogo pins and provides a physical typing setup.
