Oppo K15 Debuts in China With 8,000mAh Battery, 80W Fast Charging and Dual 50MP Cameras

Oppo has officially launched the Oppo K15 in China, expanding its K15 series lineup. The new smartphone joins the Oppo K15 Pro and Oppo K15 Pro+ introduced earlier this year. The handset is already available for purchase in the country through the company’s official online store. Here’s everything you should know about the newly launched smartphone.

The Oppo K15 is priced at CNY 2,299 (approximately Rs. 33,000) for the lone 12GB RAM + 256GB storage configuration. Buyers in China can purchase the smartphone through the official Oppo China online store.

It is offered in Gale Grey and Rapid White colour options.

Oppo K15 – Key Features

The Oppo K15 features a 6.59-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,256 × 2,760 pixels. The panel supports a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, up to 1,200 nits peak brightness, 1.07 billion colours, 100 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut, 460ppi pixel density, and a 93.4 percent screen-to-body ratio. Oppo also claims the phone comes with an IP69 rating for dust and water resistance.

Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Super octa-core chipset with a peak clock speed of 2.5GHz paired with an ARM Mali-G615 GPU. It packs 12GB LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage along with Tidal Engine technology. For heat management, the device includes an active cooling fan and a vapour chamber cooling system featuring a 4,950 sq mm heat dissipation area.

It is a dual-SIM smartphone that runs ColorOS 16 based on Android 16.

For photography, the Oppo K15 sports a dual rear camera setup led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, autofocus, dual-axis optical image stabilisation (OIS), and support for up to 10x digital zoom. It is accompanied by a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a 143-degree field of view. On the front, the handset features a 50-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture and autofocus. The phone is capable of recording videos at up to 4K resolution at 30fps.

The smartphone houses a massive 8,000mAh battery with support for 80W wired fast charging.

For connectivity, the Oppo K15 supports 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, USB Type-C, BeiDou, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, and NavIC. It is equipped with several onboard sensors including a proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, colour temperature sensor, e-compass, accelerometer, gyroscope, an in-display optical fingerprint scanner, and an IR blaster.

The Oppo K15 measures 158.3 × 75.13 × 8.31mm and weighs around 206g.
