Samsung Galaxy M47 5G – Price and Availability
The Samsung Galaxy M47 5G is available in Rogue Red with a matte-textured finish and Blaze Blue colour options. The device will go on sale through Amazon.in during the Prime Day Sale starting July 4.

As for price, the smartphone is priced starting at Rs. 22,999 including a coupon offer.
Samsung Galaxy M47 5G – Key Features
The Samsung Galaxy M47 5G features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate offering smoother scrolling, gaming, and animations. The panel also delivers high peak brightness for improved outdoor visibility. For added durability, the display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+, which is designed to provide better scratch resistance and protection against accidental drops of up to two metres.
The smartphone is backed by a large 6,000mAh battery that is designed to comfortably last through more than a full day of heavy usage. It supports 45W fast charging for quicker top-ups although the compatible charging adapter is generally sold separately.

Samsung has introduced its flagship inspired Bypass Charging feature on the Galaxy M47 5G. When users play games while the phone is connected to a charger, power is supplied directly to the processor instead of charging the battery. This helps reduce heat generation, minimises thermal throttling, and maintains stable gaming performance during extended sessions.
For photography, the Galaxy M47 5G sports a triple rear camera setup comprising a 50MP primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), a 5MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro sensor. The primary camera uses OIS to reduce the effects of hand movements, helping capture steadier videos and sharper low-light photos. The camera system also supports 4K video recording for improved detail and colour reproduction.
Samsung has also integrated its Nightography technology into the camera app to improve image quality in low-light conditions by enhancing exposure and reducing noise. On the front, the smartphone features a 12MP HDR selfie camera designed to deliver balanced skin tones even in challenging lighting conditions.
The Galaxy M47 5G runs One UI 8.5 based on Android 16 out of the box. Samsung says the software uses automated optimisation to place inactive apps into hibernation helping reduce unnecessary battery consumption in the background.
One of the biggest highlights of the device is Samsung’s long-term software commitment. The Galaxy M47 5G will receive six generations of Android OS upgrades along with six years of security updates, setting a new benchmark in the mid-range segment.
The smartphone also comes with several AI-powered and productivity features including Google Gemini integration and Circle to Search for contextual search and smart assistance. Samsung Wallet with Tap & Pay support enables contactless NFC payments, while the on-device Voice Mail feature allows callers to leave voice messages when users are unavailable or in meetings.
For security, Samsung has equipped the Galaxy M47 5G with Knox Vault, which combines dedicated hardware-based security with software features such as Auto Blocker to safeguard biometric information and encryption keys.
