Tecno has expanded its Spark 50 series lineup with the introduction of the new Tecno Spark 50 Pro model. Arriving shortly after the debut of the Spark 50, the latest model features a design inspired by Apple’s iPhone lineup and introduces several notable upgrades.

Unlike Apple, the Tecno Spark 50 Pro comes in five colour options such as Ink Black, Titanium Grey, Midnight Blue, Dynamic Orange, and Cloud White.

While the company has announced the smartphone’s specifications and features, pricing and availability details have yet to be revealed. Here’s what we know about the phone so far.

Tecno Spark 50 Pro – Key Features

The Tecno Spark 50 Pro sports a 6.78-inch display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The high refresh rate is designed to provide smoother scrolling, animations, and gaming experiences. For audio, the device comes equipped with dual stereo speakers enhanced with DTS Sound support.

Powering the Tecno Spark 50 Pro is the MediaTek Helio G100 Ultimate processor. According to the company, the chipset is capable of achieving an AnTuTu benchmark score of approximately 550,000 positioning it as a performance-focused offering in its segment.

One of the more unique aspects of the Tecno Spark 50 Pro is that it will be offered with two battery configurations. Depending on the region, buyer will either get a 5,600mAh dual-cell battery version and a larger 6,000mAh single-cell battery variant. Tecno claims both battery options are designed to retain over 80 percent of their original capacity even after six years of regular charging.

The batteries are also rated for more than 1,900 charging cycles.

The smartphone supports 60W fast charging, which is said to charge the battery up to 63 percent in just 30 minutes. A full charge reportedly takes around 55 minutes. Tecno has also included multiple charging modes allowing users to optimise charging speed and thermal management based on their preferences.

Despite packing a large battery, the Tecno Spark 50 Pro maintains a slim profile measuring just 7.8mm in thickness. The handset also comes with SGS Five-Star Premium Drop Resistance certification for improved durability. On the protection front, the smartphone also carries both IP68 and IP69 ratings offering resistance against dust ingress and water exposure.

For photography, the Tecno Spark 50 Pro features a 50MP Sony LYTIA 600 primary camera. The sensor measures 1/1.953 inches, enabling improved light capture and image quality.

The smartphone also incorporates Tecno’s FlashSnap technology, which supports shutter speeds of up to 1/10,000th of a second and helps users capture fast-moving subjects more effectively.

There are also several AI-powered imaging tools including AI Eraser 2.0, AI Extender, and Live Photo support. Tecno has additionally integrated its Universal Tone technology, which aims to deliver more natural and accurate skin tones in portrait photographs.
