So far, OnePlus has not launched any X-branded smartphones in the Turbo series. But this seems to be on the verge of changing now. Because the latest rumours are hinting at a possible China launch of the upcoming OnePlus Turbo 6X series. Here’s what we know so far.
OnePlus Turbo 6X Series – New Leak
According to details shared by an X tipster based on a recent Weibo post of famous leaker Digital Chat Station, OnePlus could soon introduce the OnePlus Turbo 6X Series in China with two different display technologies aimed at different categories of users.
As per the leaked information, the standard OnePlus Turbo 6X is expected to feature a 144Hz LCD display. On the other hand, the Pro variant in the lineup is said to come equipped with a 1.5K OLED screen.
As of now, the tipster did not reveal additional specifications of the upcoming smartphones. However, the display differences indicate that the regular model could be positioned as a more affordable offering, while the Pro version may target the premium mid-range segment.
At the same time, the inclusion of an LCD panel on the standard model hints that the series is unlikely to be positioned as a flagship offering. Instead, OnePlus may focus on delivering performance-oriented smartphones across different price segments.
