HMD has officially launched the HMD Vibe 2 5G in India as the successor to last year’s HMD Vibe 5G smartphone. With its latest launch, the company aims to strengthen its position in the highly competitive sub-Rs. 10,000 smartphone segment by offering modern features and a refreshed design.

HMD Vibe 2 5G Price and Availability in India

The HMD Vibe 2 5G has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs. 10,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant. The smartphone is also available in a 4GB RAM + 128GB storage model priced at Rs. 11,999.

The handset comes in Cosmic Lavender, Nordic Blue, and Peach Pink colour options.

It is currently available for purchase through Flipkart.

HMD Vibe 2 5G – Key Features

The newly unveiled HMD Vibe 2 5G features a 6.7-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 720×1600 pixels, 265ppi pixel density and a 120Hz refresh rate.

Powering the device is an octa-core Unisoc processor clocked at up to 2.3GHz. The smartphone comes with 4GB RAM as standard and offers up to 128GB internal storage. It is a dual-SIM (Nano + Nano) smartphone that runs on Android 16 out of the box.

For photography, the HMD Vibe 2 5G includes an AI-backed rear camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel primary sensor along with LED flash support. On the front, the phone houses an 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.

The smartphone also carries an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance.

One of the key highlights of the device is its large 6,000mAh battery, which supports 18W fast charging. HMD is also bundling the charger inside the retail box.

Connectivity features on the smartphone include Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 5, and a USB Type-C port. The device is also equipped with sensors such as an accelerometer, proximity sensor, and ambient light sensor. For security, it features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
